What KOR IT is
KOR IT is an engineering and technology company. It is not a research institute, not a blog, not a freelancer portfolio and not a generic consultancy — and it is worth saying so plainly, because the work spans enough disciplines that it could be mistaken for any of them.
The practice covers four pillars: security operations, data engineering, AI and agent security, and cloud and infrastructure. They are not separate offerings that happen to share a company name. Detection quality is bounded by the data underneath it; AI systems are secured with the same telemetry discipline as anything else; and all of it runs on infrastructure whose properties have to be enforceable. The pillars are one subject approached from four directions.
Research and the LAB sit alongside that work. Research exists because building these systems produced questions that existing practice did not answer. The LAB exists so that what we recommend has been run, measured and broken somewhere first. A small number of ideas survive that process and become products — currently one, with a second at prototype stage and labelled as such.

How we decide what to put on a page.
These are editorial rules for the site as much as engineering ones. They are the reason there are no logos, no percentages and no case studies here.
Engineering is the business
KOR IT designs, builds, integrates and secures systems. Research and the LAB exist to make that engineering better, not to substitute for it.
Say what is measured
Every figure we publish carries the configuration it came from. Lab measurements are labelled as lab measurements, and never as benchmarks.
State the limitations
Every architecture we publish has a limitations section, because the useful part of an engineering opinion is where it stops being reliable.
Nothing invented
No customers, testimonials, revenue, funding, partnerships, awards or coverage figures appear anywhere on this site. Where something is unverified, it is not published.
Client work stays private
No customer architecture, telemetry, detection content, hostname or project name is published here. The projects section contains KOR IT's own work only.
Maturity is stated, not implied
Research, experimental, prototype, lab, product — every page carries its status, and design never inflates it.

Ali Korsi is the founder of KOR IT, a cybersecurity engineering and research organisation. His work sits at the intersection of security operations, security architecture, security data engineering, data, AI security and agent security — a combination that reflects how he arrived at the subject rather than a set of interests assembled after the fact.
